CEDAR Centre organises Job Assist Expo

CEDAR Centre organises Job Assist Expo

In collaboration with Toowoomba International Multi-cultural Society, CEDAR Centre successfully organised the third Job Assist Expo in Toowoomba. There was over a hundred people attending the event held at the Toowoomba City Library.

Twenty organisations provided information to the masses through their display stalls focusing on Apprenticeships, Disability Care, Aged Care, Early Childhood, Agriculture and Emergency Services.

Besides the display stalls, sector specific employment presentations were also held while being interpreted in three languages: Arabic, Kurdish Kurmanji and Swahili. Presentation attendees were also provided booklets with detailed information on these sectors.

It was such a great event of inclusion, education and community, we are so proud of all the participants and organisers!
